Our PurposeThe LVSC is a non-profit 501(C-3) organization committed to producing quality sporting events for the purpose of raising funds for student-athletes in Southern Nevada. Events hosted by the LVSC allow local athletes to view and compete in national and international events in which they would not otherwise be able to participate.
Local youth organizations also have the opportunity to volunteer and work at each event, thus earning funds for their organization. Event revenue is set aside to sponsor student-athletes that cannot attend summer camps and tournaments, as well as providing college scholarships to individual athletes. » Our philosophy is built on principles and standards that embrace integrity, respect, honesty, character and sportsmanship. » We believe in utilizing the full range of human diversity and seek to involve those populations in our staffing, volunteers, and participants. » We believe participants, regardless of socio-economic conditions, should be given the opportunity to fulfill their athletic endeavors. » We believe all participants, regardless of athletic ability, possess the capacity to maximize their athletic experiences to the fullest potential. |
